Come along to our stand at the following free events for information and advice about services and living aids to support blind and partially sighted people.
Coffee Morning
Sight Concern is joining many other local support organisations at free East Bedford coffee morning drop-in sessions organised by East Bedford Primary Care Network at Christ the King Church Hall, Harrowden Road, Bedford, MK42 0SP from 10am – 12pm on the following dates:
Thursday 6th June, Thursday 4th July and Thursday 1st August
You will be able to access free support and information, or you can just pop in for a chat, or a free cup of coffee/tea and biscuits. These events are usually on the first Thursday of each month. More dates to be confirmed later.
Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire Just Ask Events
Sight Concern is delighted to be joining Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire’s Just Ask events on the following dates:
Tuesday 14th May – Leighton Buzzard Market Square
Thursday 8th August – Shefford High Street
Sight Concern will have an information stall between 11.15am and 1.30pm on each of these dates.
Optelec Vision Zone event in Bedford
Monday 14th October – Vision Zone Bedford at The Scrum Room, Bedford Rugby Club, Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3NF. At this event, as well as meeting Sight Concern, you can see specialist low vision equipment supplier Optelec demonstrating their latest magnification equipment and giving you the chance to get hands-on too. Also there will be stands from other organisations to be confirmed.
