Social Clubs

Our social clubs provide a welcoming space for visually impaired individuals to connect, enjoy activities, and build friendships. Below is a list of clubs we run across Luton, Dunstable, and Bedford.

Luton

The Friday Club (Partnered with the Macular Society)

• When: Fortnightly on Fridays, 10:00 am – 11:30am
• Where: St Paul’s Church, Newtown Rd, Luton, LU1 3EB
• Activities: Quizzes, music, trips, and guest speakers.
• Cost: £3 per week

Family Group

• When: 1st Saturday of every month, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
• Where: St Paul’s Church, Newtown Rd, Luton, LU1 3EB
• Who: For visually impaired children and their parents/carers.
• Activities: Games, arts and crafts, and trips.

Dunstable

Socialeyez Lunch Club

• When: Weekly on Tuesdays, 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm
• Where: Grove Corner, 76A High Street North, Dunstable, LU6 1JF
• Activities: Friendship, food, and fun!
• Cost: £6 per week for tea, coffee and lunch.

Bedford

Sight Concern Coffee Morning

• When: Last Friday of every month, 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
• Where: The Old Curiosity Café, Bromham, Bedford
• Activities: Drop in for a coffee, chat, and support from our volunteers. No booking required.
